Filing a copyright complaint (Section 512 DMCA)

If you believe content on markkystreams.video infringes a copyright you own or control, please email [email protected] with the following per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
2. The exact URL on markkystreams.video where the allegedly infringing material appears.
3. Your contact information: name, address, phone number and email.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Our response process

All complete notices are reviewed within 48 business hours. Material we determine is infringing is removed expeditiously and the notifier receives written confirmation. We maintain a log of takedown notices for our hosting provider’s records.

Counter-notification

If you believe content has been removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) to the same [email protected] address, including the counter-notification elements required by statute.

Repeat infringer policy

In accordance with the DMCA, Markky Streams Guide terminates the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. This editorial site does not accept user-submitted content, so this policy applies primarily to any contributing writers.
